I got a great haircut at the Regis Hair Salon in Melbourne Square Mall in Melbourne, FL, because the stylist is very talented, sweet and profesional". I hope she ends up at a great high-end salon/.

However, they don't clean or sterilize the brushes, scissors, combs, etc?., between clients?.

I've been through cosmetology training and this is against the law! Clients are exposed to all kinds of germs and other health issues when salons take shortcuts like this".

Also, some female who was acting like the manager/receptionist, was dressed like a complete slob/. She was rude and instead of taking care of clients and answering the phone, she was "hanging out" in the back".

The stylists were having to interrupt their services with their clients and answer the phone;.

This needs to be investigated. 128a8fd

If you look up the definition of STERILE, you'd realize that you can't sterilize a brush. Between clients, I put my combs, clips, and brushed in two types of tuberculocidal SANITIZER and clean my shears with a SANITIZING SOLUTION.

I dont know where you guys are going, but I clean my tools the night before so i can have them fresh and clean all day on the next day.Stateboard comes in they can get fined over 600 bucks or more for not being clean. But I hate to tell you not all Regis do this. Our stations are checked by our Manager to see if it's stateboard worthy. If not we will get written up.A bad apple spoils the rest of the bunch.

I have to agree the sloppiness of the stylist in dress and professionalism is terrible there. Also, the attitude is frustrating as some of the stylist seem to really have a "holier than thou" type attitude and have little regard for the relationship with their customer. I don't know what their problem is. :sigh

you shouldn't generalize the whole salon because of one person. Stylists use(and have plenty) more than one comb, brush, etc too. If you was a real licensed stylist you would know this and know not to assume the whole salon is not nasty just the stylist

Comments on Regis Hair Salon- they don't clean or sterilize brushes between clients!!!!!
